All I wanna do is ride my bike

At work today, and still a long week to go with probable weekend burned. Wanted to ride so much...

However had an awesome ride over the weekend with me buddies Brian and Rupert at Tampines Bike Park. Here are some vids from the ride.

Brian's virgin jump on the ramp at the entrance.

Me kinda demonstrating an easy way of taking the uber kick-up at the TTFR line.

That'll be all for the little time I have riding over the weekends. And congratulations to Brandon Semenuk for getting Silver at X-Games Munich Slopestyle!

Busy Week is Over!

Haven't been riding, don't have the time. Was hogged with exams and important stuff such as selecting and buying my future home!

Hopefully I'll be able to put my wheels into the dirt this weekend. There's a new episode (second last sadly) of Life Behind Bars. There's also a new episode of Mountain Bike Chronicles and I'm glad they changed the irritating commentator.

Watch the new episodes here:

Mountain Bike Chronicles Season 2 Episode 10

Here's another spectacular 1 minute of riding for your aesthetic enjoyment

Red Bull Fox Hunt

The annual Fox Hunt happened again with Gee Atherton being the fox again. Its a really fun event to ride in, this year it took place at Cavehill Country Park, Belfast. As usual, the course is extremely muddy, and many riders actually have difficulties riding through them.

Gee was again the fox, and the riders have a 20 seconds head start and Gee was suppose to overtake them. Surprisingly for this year, Gee had better results which was second, the winner was apparently a Belfast local name Greg. Moreover, I think the reason that Dan wasn't participating is pretty obvious, he would simply outrun everyone consider his track records now in Enduro.

View the 2012 Fox Hunt here.

2011 Fox Hunt

The 2011 Fox Hunt had a more impressive starting line though.

This is Peaty Season Finale!

"This is Peaty", the show featuring Steve Peat, legendary downhill mountain biker has come to an end. Hilarious episode (well so to speak every episode is funny as hell), showing Peaty and Brook Macdonald heading to Chiang Mai in Thailand for some crazy fun and hitting the local trails.

At the Chiang Mai Downhill Challenge, Peaty took the first place at the downhill challenge, and some local guy won the big air.

Watch the episode yourself to find out more!

The Deadly Monster?

After reading an article published yesterday by New York Times, regarding 5 deaths related to the consumption of Monster Energy, I can't help but think twice while buying my next can of Monster.

However, to be fair to Monster, the 5 deaths had "possible links" to the energy drink, it did not directly caused their death. There are no other dis-closed details on other affecting factors, such as drugs and alcohol.

To be honest, anyone in the right mind, and not doing any vigorous exercise for the day, should not be drinking more then 1 can of Monster (even if you like the taste). It isn't your regular soft drink. And FYI, gaming is NOT A SPORT, don't drink that much high caffeine energy drinks just because your doing e-sports, you will be the 6th. None the less if you have heart disorders, stay away from high caffeine products.

Snap back to happy stuff, Aaron Gwin's race-worn, signed and framed jersey is up for grab on Pink Bike.

In case you don't know who he is, he is the Elite Men's Overall Title winner for 2 consecutive years (2011 & 2012). More details about Aaron Gwin.
